CHOICE
Stav: Patients are currently participating in the project.
The CHOICE project, co-financed by the European Union, is being implemented in the Czech Republic, Portugal, Greece, and Italy. It brings together experts in the fields of medicine, data analysis, psychology, public health, and patient counseling.
Its goal is to provide women with sufficient, understandable, and high-quality information so that they can make informed decisions calmly and freely—in close cooperation with their doctor and with the support of those around them.
D-side
Stav: The project was completed on 11 September 2025, and its continuation is taking place within the framework of the international CHOICE project.
The D-side project is designed for women of all ages, nationalities, beliefs, or other factors who have a confirmed BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutation and are deciding, or have already decided, whether to undergo preventive breast removal (prophylactic mastectomy). This project aims to deeply understand women’s experiences and needs during their decision-making process about preventive surgery.
Retain
Stav: The project was completed.
Retain is a scientific study focused on examining the effects of consuming highly mineralized water on human health.
Roris
Stav: Recruitment for the project ended on 30 June 2025; registration is no longer possible.
The aim of the Roris project is to investigate how risk factors associated with cleft defects and the accessibility of care for children with clefts have changed before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
