Certifications
ISO 9001
In 2023, our company obtained certification for the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. This certification confirms that our internal processes are effectively designed, monitored, and regularly evaluated to maintain high quality across all our activities. ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard that emphasizes customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and process efficiency.
ISO/IEC 27001
Since 2022, our company has been certified according to the Information Security Management System ISO/IEC 27001 standard, confirming our effective management of information security. This standard focuses on protecting sensitive data by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The certification helps us identify and manage information security risks, thereby ensuring robust data protection and ongoing improvement of our security processes.
EHDEN
In 2022, we completed training by EHDEN (European Health Data & Evidence Network), an initiative aimed at optimizing the use of health data across Europe. The project’s goal is to build a trustworthy ecosystem for observational research, enabling informed decision-making to enhance patient outcomes and healthcare quality. EHDEN promotes the standardization of health data using the OMOP common data model, facilitating effective analysis and generating evidence from large volumes of real-world clinical data.
“Transforming our data into the OMOP standard is challenging, but nothing we can’t handle,” says the Data Manager responsible for converting one of our studies to the OMOP standard.

ECRIN
In 2024, we became the 22nd certified data center within the ECRIN network (European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network). ECRIN is a non-profit organization collaborating with international, European, and national clinical research units to support scientific research and optimize medical practice. Cooperation with certified centers fosters knowledge sharing and experience exchange, creating space for development and innovation in academic clinical research.
“ECRIN-supported studies include, for example, innovative research on new biomarkers and diagnostic medical devices. They do not involve pharmaceutical companies; instead, they are sponsored by leading universities or research institutions, typically funded through European grants,” says Daniel Schwarz, one of IBA’s directors and co-founders.
