Petr is the CEO and one of the founders of IBA. He has extensive experience in clinical research, having collaborated on hundreds of grant-funded and commercial research projects in oncology, hematology, neurology, and rare diseases throughout his career. At IBA, Petr primarily focuses on identifying business opportunities and fostering international collaborations. Petr is energetic in both his professional and personal interactions and enjoys exploring new things.
Daniel is the R&D and IT Director (CIO) and a co-founder of IBA. He is also an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, where he teaches in simulation medicine and participates in research projects focused on neuroscience and imaging data, often intersecting with machine learning and artificial intelligence. Daniel is the author or co-author of numerous scientific publications in high-impact journals. At IBA, he specializes in research and development at the intersection of computer and data sciences, frequently addressing cybersecurity concerns. Daniel is athletic, characterized by perseverance, determination, and meticulous planning.
Lenka is the HR and Marketing Manager at IBA. She collaborates with the company’s leadership on strategic and corporate goals, oversees marketing campaigns, brand strategy, and communication. From an HR perspective, she manages employee relations. Lenka brings years of experience in HR, marketing, and leadership from her previous roles in international companies. She received the HR Specialist of the Year 2023 award in the medium-sized enterprise category (50–250 employees) for her work in HR and personnel data digitalization projects. Lenka is approachable, naturally empathetic, and emotive—drawing energy and confidence from emotions.
Marika serves as Regulatory Affairs Manager and Clinical Research Expert (Medical Advisor and Regulatory Affairs Manager) at IBA, previously having led the Project Department. Marika is a seasoned expert in pharmaceutical project management, clinical studies, quality management, and regulatory affairs. Throughout her career, she has overseen dozens of funded and commercial R&D projects involving medical devices and pharmaceuticals—from early development through preclinical and clinical phases to market introduction. Marika excels at guiding joint projects with a balance of care and uncompromising efficiency that often resembles maternal leadership. She is also adept at interpreting complex materials.
Aneta is the Quality Manager, Data Protection Officer (DPO), and Clinical Project Manager at IBA. She has experience preparing technical contracts with suppliers and managing necessary documentation for the Regulatory Affairs department. While studying Chemistry for Medical Applications at Brno University of Technology, she worked as a research scientist on projects related to humic substances and polyhydroxyalkanoates. Today at IBA, Aneta oversees the integrated quality management system and manages several clinical projects. Her strength lies in her scientific precision and attention to detail, coupled with a hint of perfectionism, especially when navigating regulatory frameworks.
Michal leads the Data Analysis Department at IBA. He holds a rigorous doctoral degree in Mathematical Biology from the Faculty of Science at Masaryk University and has authored or co-authored numerous scientific publications, primarily in pulmonology and cardiology. In academia, Michal has taught Biostatistics and Data Analysis & Management for healthcare disciplines, passing on his expertise to the next generation of researchers. He is known for his sharp analytical mind (and wit), which he enjoys applying to both teaching and research.
David heads the Development Team at IBA. He joined the company during his university studies and advanced from data management to the development department, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of processes and problems from multiple perspectives. Today, his primary focus is on security, system integrations, and implementing complex tasks that require holistic system expertise. David is driven by determination and a constant desire for personal growth and improvement.
David leads the Data Management Department at IBA. He graduated from Brno University of Technology in Bioinformatics and Biocomputing and has over ten years of experience actively developing registries, CRF reviews and designs, eCRF creation, reports, exports, data quality control, and online visualizations. David is known professionally and personally for his strong focus on efficiency and automation.
Lenka is Head of the Clinical Projects Department at IBA. She possesses extensive project management experience in pharmacy, biology, and medicine, both domestically and internationally. In managing IBA projects, Lenka applies her expertise in project scheduling, financial management, and comprehensive documentation practices aligned with quality management system procedures and regulatory standards. She began developing these skills during her studies in Food Safety and Quality at Mendel University in Brno. Lenka blends charm and determination with a refined approach to negotiations.
Ilona is Head of the Economic Department at IBA, responsible for managing its operations and organization. She oversees accounting and taxation matters and closely monitors the company’s financial performance. Ilona has gained extensive experience from roles as an accountant, financial manager, and economist in multinational companies. She is meticulous yet easy-going, especially in situations where numerical harmony prevails.
